5 strange things about ICPC and media trial of NFF

More than a week ago, the media was agog with the sealing of some properties by ICPC said to be owned by NFF chiefs.

Sadly, five strange facts have emerged on how ICPC gooofed on the matter of investigation of NFF.

  1. Houses/properties built before becoming executive committee members of Nigeria Football Federation were accounted  to be gotten through corrupt practices of NFF chiefs. What a strange world.
  2. Even a property that was formely owned by NFF chief which had been sold since 2010 was still accounted as a property of the NFF chief. No proper investigation. Another round of strange fact
  3. To display more strange things, house that NFF chief is staying in Abuja as a tenant was also listed as a property owned by the NFF chief and ICPC were too fast in sealing the property.
  4. FCT Land allocated to NFF chief in 2019 that he was yet to pay for or even accepted the offer due to the fact that it was unknown to him, but the same land was also listed as a property that ICPC was investigating.
  5. Fighting an organisation as a result of bitterness and vehement hatred against the leadership can lead to a fatal error and which became evident when ICPC published in a newspaper the account of their investigation against NFF on Sunday 15th September, 2019 for a document glaring seen to be signed on Monday, 16th September, 2019. How was that possible?

These are the strange errors committed by those hell bent on bringing down the board of NFF led by Amaju Melvin Pinnick.

No organisation or set of individuals are above the law. Just follow the due process of the law if you think NFF chiefs stinks with corruption. Stop the media trial and allow the law to take it natural course.
