Super Eagles midfielder, Semi Ajayi continued with his goalscoring form for  Rotherham United as his brace earned the team their first away win of the season after defeating Queens Park Rangers 2-1 on Wednesday in a Championship cracker in England, www.totorinews.com reports.

Ajayi started his 37th consecutive league appearance for the visitors, dictating  the midfield in a 4-1-4-1 formation for the relegation survival hopefuls, but the first half ended in stalemate.

The sublime Nigerian  midfielder put the visitors ahead with a powerful drive on the 71st minute when his ferocious shot from outside the box hit the back of the  net to register his fifth league goal of the season.

However, with five minutes left in the game, another Nigerian Bright Osayi-Samuel equalized for the hosts when a Nahki Wells cross fell to the 21-year-old and he slotted  the ball past the goalkeeper.

At a time when it appeared that the game had a script of ending a score draw, the lanky Ajayi nodded home Anthony Forde’s cross five minutes into stoppage time to give Rotherham United the maximum points at stake.

Rotherham United is now in 22nd position with 36 points from 37 games, one point away from 19th placed Millwall in their battle for survival in the Championship.
