Reports reaching totorinews.com indicates that the Maiduguri regional office of Daily Trust Newspapers has been allegedly invaded by some armed military personnels and the regional editor of the organisation, Uthman Abubakar and another reporter Ibrahim Sawab have been arrested.
It was gathered that the invasion may be connected with the lead story of Sunday Daily Trust publication on military operation in the North-east, which appeared not to be favourable to the Nigeria military.
A source, who witnessed the incident from far, reliably informed our correspondent that armed military men have also shut the gate of the regional office of Daily Trust in Maiduguri.
