Enyimba and Rangers open Super 6 in oriental cracker in Lagos

Enyimba FC of Aba and Enugu Rangers will open the NPFL Super 6 in an oriental cracker in Lagos on June 4, totorinews.com reports.

The NPFL Super 6 will determine the 2019 champions of the league and also the other two teams that will represent Nigeria in next year’s African club championships.

Speaking at the draw of the Super 6 at the League Management Company office in Abuja, Mallam Shehu Dikko said the soccer temple is the host of the tournament , while Mohammadu Dikko stadium. Katsina state is on a stand by. He, however assures that football fans will witness great football atmosphere during the tournament in Lagos and hopefully it will be another avenue to showcase the league to potentials sponsors.

“Soccer temple in Agege will be the host of the Super 6 and we are sure that the tournament will display good football from all the teams participating in the tournament. Katsina is on stand by. We believe the choice of Lagos is ideal to attract more sponsors to the NPFL.” Dikko said.

The Kick-off of the game is 3pm at the Soccer temple, Agege Stadium in Lagos and the tournament promises to be very exciting for for football followers in the commercial city of Lagos.

FC Ifeanyiubah, another South East team will battle Lobi Stars in the second game of the opening day by 5pm, while Kano Pillars take on Akwa United by 7pm.

The overall winners of this tournament will be crowned the league champions and represent Nigeria in next year’s CAF Champions League along with the runners-up.

The match days have been fixed for June 6, 8, 10 and 12.
