Golden Eaglets must be clinical against their opponents was the candid opinion of Ladan Bosso after watching the team in the 2-1 defeat of ASDC on Saturday evening in a friendly game at the FIFA goal project, MKO Abiola stadium, Abuja.
Bosso, former coach of the Flying Eagles said that the team displayed sublime football artistry with their movements, with or without the ball, very fluid with their passes and highly compact as a team, but the only missing ingredient, is the ability of the attackers convert the numerous chances created into goals.
“I am very impressed with the quality of their play. The only team remaining is their finishing inside the box. The players must be very clinical against their opponents.” Bosso said.
“Once they get it right converting their chances into goals, the team will be unstoppable. I think a world class team is in the making with these Golden Eaglets. I’m very optimistic that the team will be very great,” he added.
Series of friendly games have been lined up for the Golden Eaglets to prepare the team for the task ahead at the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in Brazil begining from October 26 – November 17 this year.
