Super Eagles player and Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder, John Ogu has revealed to totorinews that he hopes to play in top five leagues in Europe.
“I am looking forward to playing in the top five leagues in Europe. If it comes , fine. I feel i still have a lot to offer in my club career and I am not afraid of new challenges.” Ogu told totorinews.
“Though my destiny is right now in Israeli league, but I want to keep on working hard everyday and expects something better to come out from my club career.
“In football you can just say you want to play somewhere and it does not come to pass. Sometimes you just get a good offer and the money aspect may take to move to a new club.
“If you ask me to choose countries I would love to play, I will tell you the top leagues in Europe – England, Germany, Spain, France and Italy.
“If any club shows interest from any of these five countries, I will rush at the offer. Mine is to keep on improving on my game. These are the countries that i think my football can still flourish,” he said.
Ogu had a desent game in the midfield of the Super Eagles in the international friendly game against Pharaohs of Eghpt, which Nigeria won 1-0 courtesy of a wonder strike from Paul Onuachu in the 1st minute of the game.
