Prior to scoring his first goal for Manchester United against Club Brugge of Belgium, Odion Jude Ighalo has revealed that he was under pressure after enjoying some minutes without a goal in his name, totorinews reports.
Former Super Eagles striker scored his highly cherish and sought after goal in the 34th minute after being assisted by Juan Mata. Manchester United was on fire to end the game with 5 goals to nothing for the visitors.
“It was a little bit of pressure for me, but now I got a goal to start my Manchester United goal career and it is a team I have supported since I was young, so it is very good.” Ighalo told BT Sport.
“I am very happy and I am very grateful to God. It is a great moment. I have been waiting for this, played three games, though I didn’t play much and no goals,” he added.
