Jamilu, Kalu are exciting to watch in the Super Eagles – Akinwunmi

The new  dynamic duo of Colins Jamilu and Samuel Kalu are bunch of exciting talents to watch in the Super Eagles says Bar. Seyi Akinwunmi, the 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF).

Akinwunmi disclosed this to www.totorinews.com in Uyo immediately after the Super Eagles demolished the Mediterranean Knights of Libya 4-0 at the Akwa Ibom International stadium in a crucial African Nations Cup qualifying game.

“It was a very good game for the Super Eagles and particularly happy with the scoreline of 4-0. It was exciting to watch Colins Jamilu who played very well at the left full back.” Akinwunmi said.

“He reminds me of the days of Celestine Babayaro in the Super Eagles and Samuel Kalu is another new player that showed his potentials in the game. This is good for the team.” he said.

In a game that Odion Jude Ighalo  scored his first hatrick in the colours of the Super Eagles to silence his critics , Akinwunmi said he was delighted with the goals scoring form of the Chinese based striker .

“Ighalo did very well in the game. It was a delight that he scored three goals after he was criticised for his performance in recent games,” he added.

Nigeria will file out against Libya in the reverse fixture on Tuesday in Sfax, Tunisia.
