Hon. Garba Ya’u Gwarmai, representing Kunchi Tsanyawa constituency in Kano state has predicted that the Super Eagles will defeat the Desert Foxes of Algeria 3-2 to qualify for the final of Egypt 2019 AFCON tournament.
Hon. Gwarmai disclosed this in an exclusive chat with totorinews in Cairo where he said that the game will be tension filled and he is very optimistic that the Super Eagles will have the last laugh on the field on Sunday.
“I see Nigeria winning the game. It will not be easy, there will be tension but the Super Eagles will win 3-2 . I had already said Nigeria will win 3-2 from the day Algeria qualified to meet Nigeria in the final.” Hon. Gwarmai said.
“This time around the Super Eagles are performing well in AFCON. The players are very skillful. Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Mikel Obi, Odion Ighalo and most of the players are not only good players, they also have experience of playing at the World Cup In Russia last year and i think this has really helped them in the tournament,” he said further.
“And when we considered also that the defenders have been very disciplined at the back. Williams Troost Ekong and Kenneth Omeruo have formed a very formidable and strong wall of defence in the team and both of them have scored a goal each for Nigeria in this tournament. All these should give Nigerians reasons to believe that Eagles will win Algeria,” he concluded.
