It was a surprised birthday celebration over the weekend when management of MK Sports international, Abuja honoured Bar. Yakubu Galadima, the proprietor of YOG FC on the occassion of his birthday, totorinews reports.
Nureni Makanjuola, the Chairman/CEO of MK Sports International, who is also the financial sponsor of Water FC of Abuja said it is good to celebrate individuals that have contributed to the development of Nigerian youths through sports and Bar. Galadima is in that class of kind hearted Nigerians that have helped to put smiles on the faces of Nigerian youths.

“It is good to celebrate a man of honour and integrity that have contributed immensely to the lives of Nigerian youths through football and his birthday is a special day for everyone of us in football,” Makanjuola said.
Speaking at the occassion, the celebrant, Bar. Yakubu, who was overwhelmed with excitement at the suprised package given to him, said that football is a uniting factor in the country and it is a tool that can be used to reduce crime rate in Nigeria, adding that he appreciates MK Sports International and everyone present to share his special day.

“It is a happy day for me and everyone of us. By the grace of God i am in my forties, approaching 50 and i pray that God’s blessings and mercies will continue to keep us from all evil,” Bar. Yakubu said.
‘The purpose of setting up YOG FC is to encourage the youths to contribute meaningfully to the development of the society using their God given talent of football,” he added.
“It is a joy to keep the youths of Nigeria from the streets, crime, drugs and other social vices,” he further said.
Earlier in the day, a friendly game was played between Water FC and YOG FC. It ended 4-1 against YOG FC.

YOG FC is an acronym for Yakubu Ohimege Galadima. The club was established in 2017 and it is based in Kuje, Abuja.
Bar. Galadima is also the founding partner of Marble Partners LP, one of the leading law Firm in Nigeria.
