The board and management of Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) congratulates the Inspector General of Police IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu on his one year of committed service to his fatherland as the IG of Police.
NLO also commended IGP Mohammed ADAMU for establishing the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), aimed at saving the youths from the claws of cultism and other vices in the country, as well as the appointed of Csp Ebere Amaraizu who also is one of our zonal directors in charge of south east in the nationwide league one board as the National Coordinator of (POCACOV).
This was disclosed to the media in Abuja by Mohammed Alkali, chairman of NLO, as he informed that there has been giants strides in the Nigeeia Police under the leadership of Mohammed Adamu and POCACOV is a welcome development.
“We commend the IGP for his giants strides of achievement within one year in office and on this laudable initiative of POCACOV.” Alkali said.
“NLO is glad to associate with this noble initiative of POCACOV headed by CSP, Ebere Amaraizu, as we deal with the youth accross the States of the Federation with its youth clubs spread accross the country,” he added.
“We shall continue to partner the Nigeria Police Force through POCACOV to deepen the POCACOV message of “Say No to Cultism and other Vices” and be a champion pointing that the community policing strategies of the IGP is worthy to be associated with,” he further said.
NLO is the third tier of the league under the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the secretariat of the league administers over 180 clubs spread across the six – geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
