Ahead of the primaries for the gubernatorial election in Kogi state later in the year, Sani Lulu, one of the candidates vying for the chief executive officer of the state has said that he is not thinking of losing, therefore no need to change to another party, totorinews reports.
Lulu, an All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain in Kogi state and a former President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), informed that his contributions in the public service and different programmes he initiated and still being implemented in the grassroots across Kogi state are factors that will work in his favour in his quest to become the next governor of the state.
“I am not thinking of losing, so changing party is not an option. My desire is to correct the ills in the society in cognisance of my past services has been my motivating factor.” Lulu said.
“President Muhammadu Buhari is my role model and I believe I will be safer in APC where I can execute zero tolerance for corruption,” he added.
“My successful experience in service particularly as NFF President and several grassroots developmental progamms initiated and executed has endeared me to kogites which is a clear advantage over every other contestants,” he said.
