NPFL kick off date: LMC/ Club Owners emergency meeting holds on Friday in Abuja

Bearing last minute arrangements to kick start the 2018/2019 NPFL season on Sunday 13th January 2019 across the league centres in Nigeria, the LMC and the NPFL club owners are to meet in Abuja Friday.

A notice for the Emergency meeting cum AGM released Wednesday evening and signed by the Executive secretary of the Club Owners Association Mr Alloy Chukwuemeka as sighted by our correspondent said the meeting holds on Friday 11th January 2019 at Reno hotel in Abuja by 10pm.

According to the notice of the meeting, all the four newly promoted clubs are also expected to be  at the meeting which would confirm the January 13th kick off date amongst others.

Kada FC of Kaduna, Gombe Utd FC, Insurance FC of Benin and Remo stars FC are the newly promoted clubs to join the top flight clubs in the NPFL.
