“If the decision is to conclude the season league, we have a team that will fight for the title.

“And if the final decision is to cancel the season and make us one of the representatives in CAF inter-club competitions, no big deal, he said.

“We’ve ridden on the mentality from both our Technical crew and Management, to always stay positive, no matter the circumstances.

The Anambra State born goalkeeper, who started his professional football career in Jos with Mighty Jets FC, is currently leading the other top-flight shot stoppers in terms of clean sheets kept.

With ten clean sheets in the league out of 25 rounds of matches, Awawah, as he is fondly called, identifies New comers Dakkada Int’l FC as the side that has given him the toughest challenge so far this season.

“The only team that has given me a tough challenge in the league this season is Dakkada Int’l FC

“They have a very good and compact team; playing against them in Uyo was a mountainous task for us.
