Omeruo plays 90minutes as Leganes and Sevilla settles for 1-1 draw

Francis Achi.
Solid Super Eagles defender and dependable player of CD Leganes in the Spanish LA Liga, Kenneth Omeruo was in terrific form for 90 minutes in the La Liga encounter between Leganes and Sevilla that ended 1-1.

Leganes began the game on a very good note firing home a goal in the 5th minute through Mikel Vesga and they dominated their more illustrious opponents at the early stage of the game, which could have yielded more goals, but their attackers were not that prolific in front of goal.

Sevilla came out very strong in the second half in search of an equaliser, but Omeruo in the central defence for Leganes combined and communicated very well with his fellow defenders to thwart all the attacking efforts of Sevilla attackers.

Unfortunately for Omeruo and his teammates, they conceeded a heart breaking goal in the 90 minute when Wissam Ben Yedder scored for the visitor.

Omeruo has been very impressive in the Leganes set up since joining the team on loan at the beginning of the season.
