Victor Osimhen, Nigeria’s rave of the moment in Italian football has been described by Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli president as a 30 – Goal striker, www.totorinews.com reports.
The former Golden Eaglets stiker officially signed for Napoli on Friday from French Ligue 1 club Lille on a five-year contract, beating other Europeab clubs to the signature of the scoring gazelle.
“It is certainly a costly investment, but he is a strong striker who our sports director [Cristiano] Giuntoli advocated,” De Laurentiis told Corriere del Mezzogiorno. “He is a 30-goal striker.
“I met him and he made an excellent impression on me, I hope he quickly settles in our championship.”
Osimhen hit the back of the net 18 times in 38 competitive appearances for Lille in his first season in French Lique 1, crowning his efforts by winning the club’s Player of the Season and the best African player in Ligue 1 award.
