Patronising Prostitutes : Warri Wolves suspends two players

Warri Wolves have suspended forwards, Moses Omoduemuke and Erhire Felix, for gross indiscipline.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Etu Moses.

The two players were suspended for two weeks without pay after they imported prostitutes to the team’s camp in Ogbomoso and were caught.

The statement says the action of the two players is embarrassing and it is capable of truncating the team’s ultimate target of securing promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, if not nipped in the bud.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Warri Wolves FC, Etu Moses, has charged players and officials of the club to remain focused ahead of their semifinal clash with J. Atete in the DFA/State Aiteo Cup.

The seasoned football administrator gave this charge in Ogbomoso while addressing players and officials of the side after their 2 – 0 loss to Crown FC in the Nigeria National League, NNL, on Sunday.

Etu said the game was now in the past and they must see the next match as a test of their preparedness to restore the team to its glorious place in Nigeria football.

He noted that they must continue to work hard to get desirable results in all competitions this season.

“We must stay focused ahead of our next match,” said Etu Moses emphatically.

“Yesterday’s game is now in the past. We must work on the lapses noted in the match.”

He added:”We must continue to work and work harder. Our next opponent, J. Atete, are a tough side and we must be ready to march their quality and overrun them in Asaba.”

Warri Wolves will  play their next game in the DFA/State Aiteo Cup against J. Atete at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Thursday, April 25.
