Many football analysts and pundits in Finland are amazed with the goals scoring techniques of Paul Obi, Nigeria’s striker after scoring his 10th goal of the season on Saturday when his club, FC Pepo Lappeenranta  defeated VJC 4-2.

Obi scored in the 30th minute of the encounter with his trade mark clinical finish, as  the defence of VJC could not stop him and it appears that the former FC Herceles attacker is on the verge of repeating the feat of last season when he scored 20 goals for Herceles.

Speaking exclusively to totorinews, Obi informed that the league in Finland is very difficult, but he is happy with his performance for the club and he hopes to keep improving on his game, adding that he does special training on goals scoring techniques.

“I feel good playing in Finland, but the league is not easy. It is just that i focus on my goals scoring techniques. Last season i scored 20 goals for Herceles and i  scored a goal today to make it my 10th goal this season after playing 13 games.” Obi said.

“I focus on my goals scoring techniques. I do special training on how to improve my goals and this special training session has been a great help to me and also following the instructions of my coaches is another factor that is helping me in Finland.

“My teammates have also been very amazing. No man is an island and as a striker, my teammates have been very tremendous in assisting me score goals.” he said.

Pepo Lappeenranta in on the 8th position in the league table with 21 points after 17 games.
