Remain focused, keep winning, your money is intact – Pinnick tells Super Eagles

An elated President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has praised the efforts of the Super Eagles in eliminating Cameroon, the defending champions from AFCON 2019 tournament in Egypt, reports totorinews.

Pinnick in his excitement informed the Super Eagles that the government of Nigeria and the people of the most populous black country are happy with their performance and everything that has to do with their financial entitlement is intact til the final game of the tournament.

He, therefore charged the team to remain focused as they tackle South Africa in quarter -final clash at the AFCON 2019, adding that the the players and the entire squad will not lack financial motivation in the tournament.

“We are happy for the victory over Cameroon. All the money budgeted for the AFCON has been approved and given up til to the final for everyone of you. Just remain focused and keep winning . Your money is intact.” Pinnick tells Super Eagles after the team eliminated Cameroon on Saturday.

In a related development, It has been the rain of dollars for the Super Eagles after they defeated Cameroon 3-2. Each member of the Super Eagles team that defeated Cameroon in the AFCON knockout stage will earn $37,500.

The players will be smiling home with $20,000.00 extra bonus each for the victory over Cameroon courtesy one of the sponsors of the Super Eagles, Captain Hosa Okunbor.

The Lagos state government also promised each player $5,000 while the NFF will pay each player $12,500 as earlier agreed with the players. The total bonus for qualifying for the quarter final is $37,500.00.

Not forgetting to add that AITEO promised $75,000 for the three goals scored by the team against Cameroon. It is indeed the rain of dollars for the Super Eagles and more will come if the team remain focused with the objective of winning the trophy for the fourth time as emphasized by Pinnick.
