Moses Simon has achieved another milestone in his first season in French Lique 1 after his goal against Nice won the goal of the season in FC Nantes, totorinews reports.
The Super Eagles sublime attacker had earlier won the player of the season in FC Nantes after scoring nine goals before the league went on emergency break due to COVID-19 pandemic and it was eventually called off.
“God has done it again. Am speechless for winning the player of the season and now the goal of the season. All glory to God,” Simon told totorinews.
“It can only spur me to do more in my career . This is a blessed season for me with so many good things happening around my career and family.
“God has been too faithful to me and my family with the arrival of my new born baby and as well the most valuable player of the season in a club that I am just l spending my first season and first time playing In the French league.
“It is a great honour by God, I thank the Almighty for these achievements, the fans of FC Nantes and the management of the club.
The goal was also named no 25 best goal of the decade in France.
