The rich disposal of dynamic football talents in the nest of the Super Eagles can make the team to win the 2019 AFCON tournament in Cameroon says Gernot Rohr, Technical Adviser of the team in an exclusive chat with totorinews.com.
Rohr revealed that most of the players in the team are very young ,disciplined and they have strong desire to succeed in the national team and it is very possible for Nigeria to win the next African football showpiece with this set of players, although the team is yet to qualify for the tournament.
“We have very good players in the team. These players are playing very well in Europe and they are very young. Of course Super Eagles can win the Africa tournament. It is possible , very likely that the team can win it.” Rohr said.
The Super Eagles will file out against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in an Africa Nations cup qualifying games next weekend in Johannesburg and millions of football fans in Nigerians are clamouring for a pay back time, having lost to the Bafana Bafana 2-0 in Uyo last year in the first game of the qualifying campaign.
It was the first competitive loss of Nigeria to South Africa.
