Samuel Kalu, FC Bordeaux of France attacker has said that he dreamt of playing for Nigeria as a kid, but he never knew it will come so fast, reports totorinews.com exclusively.
Kalu, got his first cap for the Super Eagles against Seychelles in September in the game that Nigeria won 3-0 away in Victoria. Kalu had a decent game. He was looked upon as a good addition to the Super Eagles and he was rewarded with another invitation to the Super Eagles for the double header clash against Libya.
“Every Nigerian footballer dreamt of playing for the Super Eagles and i also dreamt of playing for Nigerian, but i never knew it will come so quickly. It was my dream,my wish, but i never knew it will come so fast because there are so many good Nigerian players everywhere, doing well at their clubs.” Kalu said.
“It is a great honour to wear the jersey of your national team. I will keep on working hard in my club and in the Super Eagles,” he added.
Kalu has three caps in the national team and a goal to his name.
