With Gernot Rohr still in charge of the Super Eagles for another two and half years based on his renewed contract as the Supremo of the team by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, United States – based Nigerian striker, Fanendo Adi has hailed the impact of the Franco – German in the national team.

TotoriNews gathered that the sublime striker is fascinated with the abundance of football talents that Rohr parades, but despite the little success the team gained in recent years under him, not allowing some players in the Nigeria Professional Football League in the team under his watch put these players at a disadvantage which is not good for the development of Nigerian league.

Super Eagles without home based players

“I think Gernot Rohr has done well for the Super Eagles. He has brought in a lot of talents, but I hope and wish he involves a lot of home based players because that is the major way that the league in Nigeria can improved,” Adi said on NSM WhatsApp platform as a special guest.

“If you are bringing all the players from abroad, it isn’t a bad thing either, that is also development, but he should not make the home based players to be at a disadvantaged.
