Warri Wolves Football Club have hailed the smooth elections of Delta State Football Referees’ Council, saying that the electoral exercise speaks volume of the unity that exists among referees in the state.
This is contained in a statement released by the club to congratulate the newly elected chairman of the state referees’ council, Ejoh Dimas, and other members of the incoming executives.
The statement urges the referees to be good ambassadors of the state in the discharge of their duties.
It charges them to carry out their job in the forthcoming league campaigns in the country without fear or favour, adding that they should at all times stick to the tenets of their noble profession.
It will be recalled that recently Ejoh Dimas, Edozie Henry, amongst others were elected chairman and deputy chairman of the Delta State Football Referee Council.
