We will mobilise 1000 of our members for Eagles says Idris, Coordinator Super Eagles fans’ club, Egypt

Idris Ade Ibrahim, Coordinator of Super Eagles fans’ club in Egypt has said that everything working out fine, 1000 members of the club will be at the mainbowl of Cairo International stadium to cheer the Super Eagles against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

In an exclusive chat with totorinews in Cairo, Idris said Super Eagles fans’ club has given the Super Eagles massive support from the day they stepped into Egypt and camped at Ismaili , adding that his members visited the team to assure them of their total support in the tournament.

“We are Nigerians living in Egypt and we formed Super Eagles Fans’ club when CAF decided to give Egypt the hosting right of the tournament. We were at the Super Eagles camp at Ismaili when they just came into Egypt. Coach Gernot Rohr , Captain Mikel Obi and the rest of the team were happy to receive us and we presented them with a cake, which represents celebration.” idris said.

“You can only celebrates when you win and the team has been winning matches apart from the loss to Madagascar. We will continue to support the Super Eagles and in the game against Algeria on Sunday, we are mobilising 1000 of our members to be at the stadium,” he added.

“The only problem we have is scarcity of match tickets. We are hoping and praying that NFF can help us with the match tickets. Many of our members, who are students at some Egyptian universities in Cairo, Alexandria, Suez and the rest are on their way to Cairo to support the Super Eagles and we want NFF to help us,” he pleaded.

Nigeria and Algeria will battle for the final spot in the second semi final game on Sunday by 8pm Nigerian time.
